The Washington boys basketball team faced a tough challenge on Saturday night, falling 45–101 to a sharp and disciplined Saint Joseph squad. Even in a difficult matchup, the Panthers continued to compete, communicate, and fight for each other possession by possession. Washington found moments of rhythm offensively, pushing the ball in transition and attacking the paint with confidence. Defensively, the Panthers worked to adjust to the Huskies’ pace and shot‑making, staying vocal and locked in despite the score. Players stepped into bigger roles, stayed engaged on the bench, and kept the energy connected from start to finish. This group is still building its identity — one rooted in resilience, accountability, and showing up no matter the circumstances. Games like this become fuel, not setbacks, and the Panthers will carry those lessons into their next opportunity.
